re: Cure for the winter blues

Large tropical plants kept indoors often bloom at this time of year. Butterfly Amaryllis is one of my favorites. It is very easy to take care of, put it outdoors after all danger of frost is over, and bring it in before the first frost. Water at least once a week and fertilize during the summer months. This Amaryllis does not die back like most Amaryllis bulbs bought in the fall.

No January Meeting

After our very successful Holiday Home Tour in December and the following Club Christmas Party, there will be no meeting in January. With the local weather, this is usually a good thing.
